In 1st innings, West Indies Batting 1st, despite Kraig Brathwaite (61), Jason Holder (59), Joshua Da Silva (49) valiant efforts, Chris Woakes (3/69), Gus Atkinson (4/67) restricted them to 282 runs.
England replied with 376 runs. Despite a top order collapse, Joe Root (87), Jamie Smith (95), Ben Stokes (54), Chris Woakes (62) saved a collapse. Alzarri Joseph (4/122) , Jayden Seales (3/79) tried their best but English lower order had better performance.
In West Indies 2nd innings, pacer Mark Wood’s 5-fer demolished them to 175 runs. Mikyle Louis (57), Kavem Hodge (55) tried their best but rest of the Batting order didn’t support.
England chasing 81 runs, completed with ease in 7.2 overs. Ben Stokes (57*) recorded England’s fastest Test 50 , guiding his team to 3-0 win.
Wood was adjourned the Man of the Match. Gus Atkinson & Jayden Seales jointly received Player of The Series award.
