Nottingham : England defeated West Indies by 241 runs at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. They clinched the 3 Match Test Series 2-0.

In 1st Innings, Batting 1st , England registered a mammoth 416 runs.

Ollie Pope (121), Ben Duckett (71), Ben Stokes (69) played key roles in this.

West Indies responded well with the Bat , scoring 457 runs with 41 runs lead.

Kavem Hodge (120), Joshua Da Silva (82*), Alick Athanaze (82) fought against fierce English bowling to register the total. Chris Woakes starred with 4/84.

In 2nd Innings, England again registered 400+ total, scoring 425 runs.

Joe Root (122), Harry Brook (109), Ollie Pope (51) hammered West Indies bowling to push them to backfoot. Jayden Seales was the only successful West Indies bowler picking 4-fer.

Chasing 384 runs, West Indies succumbed to 143 runs with Shoaib Bashir’s 5/41. England won the Match by 241 runs, & the series 2-0.

Pope was adjourned the Man of The Match for his both innings heroics.
