Goa: Kerala Blasters should blame themselves for failing to capitalise on the chances as they drew 2-2 against Odisha FC at the Fatorda on Thursday. Jordan Murry and Gary Hooper netted for Blasters while Diego Mauricio scored a brace for Odisha.
The match started with Kerala going all guns blazing with Murry and Hooper at the top. But Mauricio drew the first blood against the run of play in the 45th minute. This was his eighth goal of the season.
In the 52nd minute, Murry scored the equaliser from a Hooper pass. Kerala then went on a rampage as Hooper gave them the lead in the 68th minute. But Kerala’s defence couln’t hold onto the lead with the Brazilian Mauricio once again equalising on the 74th minute.
