Sharjah : After loss against arch rivals Pakistan, Indian team is back on track after whopping 211 runs win against Japan in ACC U19 Asia Cup, at Sharjah.

Batting 1st , Indian youngster Mohamed Amaan (122*) slammed ton to put India in commanding position. Accompanying knocks of Ayush Mhatre (54), KP Kartikeya and finishing cameo of Hardik Raj (25*) powered India to 339-6 (50).

Japan, despite Hugo Kelly’s (50) lone efforts, succumbed to 128-8 (50). Indian Bowlers Hardik Raj, Chetan Sharma, KP Kartikeya picked 2-fers to hand India 211 runs victory.

Amaan was adjourned the man of the match for his heroic ton.
