Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya hands over T20I trophy to series debutant Natarajan, netizens left awestruck

Sydney: After an impressive performance on Indian Premier League (IPL), T. Natarajan was fast-tracked into the national team. India’s white-ball series against Australia witnessed the rise T Natarajan. The 29 year old  has been outstanding since making his international debut in the third ODI in Canberra after being included as cover for Navdeep Saini. The youngster was a last-minute addition to the T20 squad, replacing Varun Chakravarthy.


Impressed by newcomer T Natarajan’s ability skipper Virat Kohli and all rounder Hardik Pandya hands over T20I trophy to series debutant Natarajan.
After the match, skipper Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya came up with a remarkable gestures for debutant T Natarajan.  Kohli handed him the Series Trophy and Pandya handed his Man of the Series award.

“Natarajan – special mention to him because in the absence of Shami and Bumrah, he’s been the guy who has stood up and really delivered under pressure which is outstanding for the fact that he’s playing his first few games at the international level, He’s very composed, very sure of what he wants to do. He’s a very hardworking guy, very humble guy, and you feel happy for guys who are committed and working hard for the team when they get the results and make the team win.”
Kohli said during a virtual media interaction.

” He looks very composed and is a very hard-working guy and very humble too. I wish him all the best and a left-arm bowler is always an asset on the field and if he can be consistent it will be a great thing for us heading into the world cup next year,” Kohli added.

Besides Kohli Pandya also lauded Natarajan,
“Natarajan, you were outstanding this series. To perform brilliantly in difficult conditions on your India debut speaks volumes of your talent and hard work, “You deserve Man of the Series from my side bhai! Congratulations to #TeamIndia on the win.” Hardik wrote on his social media handle.

When the Indian players were posing with the winner’s trophy after the end of the 3rd T20I, skipper Kohli and Pandya had handed over the trophy to  Natarajan.
