Kolkata : Former RCB captain Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli and others have congratulated and backed Rajat Patidar upon being elected as RCB skipper ahead of IPL 2025.
Patidar, the 8th official RCB skipper was appointed the captain on February 13, 2025, taking over from Faf Du Plessis, who’s released from the team ahead of the auction. He is also choosen over legendary former skipper Kohli. The 31 years old, who’s with RCB since 2021, showed great determination, leadership abilities leading Madhya Pradesh in domestic circuit.
