Paris: Former Barcelona star Thierry Henry stated that the biggest problem with Lionel Messi is that the Talisman is ‘isolated’ while the whole team revolves around French kid Kylian Mbappé.

“He (Messi) is isolated; he is on the ball less. I wouldn’t say he’s sad, but he’s isolated. I prefer him through the middle.” said the former Arsenal star.

“Messi doesn’t speak a lot; he speaks with the ball. For now, it’s Kylian’s team. Kylian is the one who’s making it shine most of all. The ball goes more towards him.”

Lionel Messi has probably had his worst start to a season, although he had found the net four times for the Parisians, he is yet to score at Parc De Princes. Although Neymar Jr, Mbappé, and Messi were anticipated to be the most lethal trio but had not lived up to the mark.

However, according to Henry the main problem with Messi is being played at right and stated that he should be fielded a little lower in the middle to make opportunities for Neymar and Mbappé.

“I’m having trouble with Leo out on the right. In the middle, he can set the tempo. Something needs to be found in order to get Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi to play together.” said Henry.

“I don’t think he can make a difference on the right, but then I don’t have the exact details from the tactical standpoint. Obviously, when you stay high up and you get out of the way, you won’t have an impact. Then you have fewer balls going towards him.”

However, Lionel Messi is the absolute best he is can be hoped to bounce back soon to his form, creating and well as scoring, which will be a little difficult to watch, without the Blaugrana jersey and number 10 at the back.
