Kalyani, January 24, 2025: Haryana bowling unit powered by Anuj Thakral’s 6-fer at Bengal Cricket Academy Ground, Kalyani in Day 2 of Ranji Trophy 2024-25.
On Day 1, Bengal pacer Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal pushed Haryana to backfoot bagging 6-fer and dismissing them for 157.
However, things turned on Day 2. Haryana speedster Anuj Thakral destroyed Bengal middle order, for which Bengal got dismissed for 124, losing chance to take 1st innings lead.
Haryana’s response with Bat in 2nd innings was also heavy as they pilled up 158-2 by end of the day increasing lead to 191 runs.
Himanshu Rana (46*) & Nishant Sindhu (26*) are still at crease with 52 runs partnership.
