Kolkata: Manchester City are reportedly ready to offer Barcelona star Lionel Messi if he wants to move out of Spain. However, City lights got brighter after a Spanish journalist Marcelo Bechler has tweeted a video where he said that Messi wants to leave the club this year.
Bechler in his report said, “Messi wants to leave Barcelona immediately. Dissatisfied with the administration and lack of planning, the Argentine star has already communicated to the management the desire to change clubs.”

And this comes in after Barcelona were humiliated 8-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinal a couple of days earlier. City also endured the same fate as Barca, losing to Lyon on Sunday in the Champions League quarters, but are desperate to pay any amount to sign the six-time Ballon d’Or winner, according to The Mirror.
It is understood that Messi’s current wage is peer pressure on Barca with no titles in the ongoing session made situations worse. The financial conditions are also not good and it is expected for Barca to settle for less. Manchester City firmly believes that they are in the top bid to take over Messi if he leaves the Spanish giants after the humiliation in the Champions League.
