London: Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is on a verge of a transfer saga after it was understood that manager Mikel Arteta is not willing to keep him in his side, so he is in a verge of a move this summer. While Barcelona and Villarreal have shown interest on the player, Ligue 1 giants PSG became the latest to join in the race.

Guendouzi joined Arsenal in the summer of 2018 and, despite his lack of experience, quickly established himself in the first team under Unai Emery. But in June, Arsenal were beaten by Brighton in a feisty affair which saw the midfielder clash with Neal Maupay. Arteta privately told Guendouzi to apologise for his behaviour but he refused and was exiled from the first-team squad.

As funds are tight due to the pandemic if a good offer arrives, Arsenal is going to grab it up. It seems that Frenchman’s career in London is coming to an end. Arsenal want around 40 million pounds for the Frenchman which will be a significant profit for them as he was bought for just seven million pounds from Lorient two years back.
