South Africa Batting first started off strongly with 51 runs opening stand.
Temba Bavuma (82) & Matthew Breetkze (83) notched another vital 119 runs partnership.
Heinrich Klaasen (87) , Kyle Verreynne (44*) ended the innings on high note as Proteas managed 352 runs.
Chasing 353 runs, Pakistan, after 57 runs opening stand lost 3 wickets for 91 runs.
Salman Agha (134) Md Rizwan (122*) made record partnership of 260 runs.
Salman’s innings of 134 (103) included 2 sixes, 16 boundaries, earning Man of the match. On other hand, Rizwan smashed 122* (128) included 3 sixes, 9 boundaries.
The duo guided Pakistan past the target in 49 overs, recording their highest successful ODI chase, thereby, qualifying for final.
Pakistan will face New Zealand in final at Karachi on February 14, 2025.
