Kylian Mbappé to stay at PSG, Real Madrid pull out

Paris: French Wonder kid Kylian Mbappé is set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain till the end of his contract after Real Madrid pulled out of the bidding process following the decline of their latest attempt. 

Real Madrid, with their carefully handled economics, had amassed enough to make an official bid for Mbappe at 160m pounds initially which was later increased to 200m pounds. However, PSG refused that too with the Spanish giants officially withdrawing from the bid.

Real Madrid would now wait until the expiration of the contract to possibly get Mbappé as a free agent which would definitely be one of the greatest free transfers ever. The 2018 World Cup winner joined PSG back in 2017 from AS Monaco for 167.5m pounds on a four-year deal that would keep him in the club till 2021-22.

The French youngster has already scored over 135 goals for the French side in 177 appearances. Mbappé being a huge follower of Cristiano Ronaldo had always expressed his desire to play for Real Madrid, while the Spanish Giants have been really eager to sign the youngster after Ronaldo’s departure.

As the expiration of the contract neared, Mbappé expressed on multiple occasions about him not agreeing to renew and extend his stay at the club.
