Kolkata : As per reports , the 3 times IPL Champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have approached Indian legend and former T20 WC winning coach Rahul Dravid for mentor’s post.
KKR former mentor Gautam Gambhir has reportedly left the position as team’s mentor after guiding them to IPL 2024 victory, as he’s likely to join the Indian team as head coach. He has also bid adieu to KKR with a farewell photo shoot at Eden Gardens.
Rahul Dravid’s contract as Indian Head coach has ended after successful campaign of ICC T20 WC 2024.
According to News 18 Bangla, the outgoing Indian head coach might kickstart a new stint with the defending IPL champions, filling the mentor’s vacant position.
The inclusion of Dravid in the KKR set up can add to more boost in mindset and performance, thereby increase chances of more success in future.
