Goa: Chennaiyin FC played a 1-1 draw against Kerala Blasters FC at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim. Fatkhullo Fatkhuloev scored for Chennai while for Kerala it was Jordan Murry.
Tajikistan international Fathullo opened the scoring in the 10th minute, a left-footed shot into the goal. Against the run of play Kerala earned a penalty, Hooper scored in the 29th minute. It was also his 200th career goal.
Kerala went on a rampage over the Chennaiyin defence but failed to find the back of the net. In the second half, Kerala looked more threatening than Chennaiyin and came close to score numerous times, but was stopped by Vishal Kaith on goal.
