
Bengaluru : Sunrisers Hyderabad register 287 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, registering highest score in IPL history, defeating them by 25 runs. Travis Head’s 102(41) played a vital part in the mammoth score.
Batting 1st, SRH went off to flying start targeting all RCB bowlers on a flat deck.
Abhishek Sharma (34) cameo, followed by a 40 balls 100 by Travis Head, thrashing by Heinrich Klaasen (67), and fiery finish by Aiden Markram(32), Abdul Samad (37) brought SRH’s total to 287/7 (20).
Chasing 288, despite a good start by Virar Kohli (42) & Faf Du Plessis (62), the top+middle order fumbled off Pat Cummings spell of 3-fer.
The highlight of the innings was a lone battle by veteran Dinesh Karthik scoring 83(35), ending RCB’s innings at 262-7(20), losing the Match by just 25 runs.
