
Kolkata : Jos Buttler’s 7th IPL ton helped Rajasthan Royals chase 224 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, winning by 2 wickets. This knock also outshined KKR spinner Sunil Narine’s maiden IPL ton.

Losing Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson quickly Riyan Parag (34) built partnership with Jos Buttler.
After Parag’s dismissal, middle order fumbled, though Buttler held the innings from one end.
It was from 121-6 that Buttler and Rovman Powell notched up a crucial 50 partnership. After Powell’s dismissal it was a sole game played by Buttler.
Buttler now took Harshit Rana and Mitchell Starc to cleaners, and smashed Varun Chakravarti in last over, not only completing his ton but also securing an impossible looking win for Rajasthan Royals.
In 1st innings, KKR started in their typical way, Sunil Narine played a heroic knock of 109(56) taking KKR to 223-6 after 20 overs but without success.
Jos Buttler was adjourned the Man of the Match for his 107*(60).
