Mumbai: Will Arjun Tendulkar get an IPL debut on Saturday? A day before their league fixture against Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians have teased the idea with a picture of the youngster in one of their tweets, exciting fans who desperately want to see him play.
With the team’s poor performance in their bowling department, Mumbai could put Arjun in the eleven. Tendulkar had started as a net bowler for the five-time IPL Champions before being signed up for Rs 20 lakh in IPL 2021 auction. Mumbai paid Rs 30 lakhs to resign the youngster for IPL 2022. Arjun hasn’t got a chance to play for MI yet but is likely to make his debut on Saturday (April 16).

The young left arm pacer featured in two T20s for the Mumbai state team. He has also been part of Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy team but is uncapped in first-class cricket. If Arjun comes into the side, Basil Thampi or Jaydev Unadkat would have to make way for the youngster.
