Abu Dhabi: Royal Challengers Bangalore, assured of a play-off berth, will try to move closer to a top-two finish in the league stage when they face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday (October 6). RCB, who are chasing their first IPL crown, are presently third in the standings with 16 points after 12 games.
A win on Wednesday will undoubtedly bolster RCB’s confidence ahead of their last group game on Friday against the Delhi Capitals (October 8). If RCB win their final two games, they will have 20 points and a chance to finish in the top two. Following two defeats – against Kolkata Knight Riders and CSK – at the start of the second leg, RCB responded in spectacular fashion, earning a hat-trick of victories to secure their place in the play-offs.
In the meantime, Kohli took to social media and posted a video of himself showing off his complete range in the nets on the eve of their final league game.

IPL 2021 season, on the other hand, has been nothing but a failure for Sunrisers Hyderabad, a story of sadness and squandered potential. The performances of some of the franchise’s first-choice players had been so poor that team management has been compelled to experiment with different strategies in pursuit of success.
Sunrisers Hyderabad enters the final two games of their season with only two wins in 12 games. SRH is anticipated to continue providing opportunities for its young guns to perform at the top level. Will the Hyderabad franchise, though, return its star Indian batsman Manish Pandey, who has been benched for the last three games?
