Pune: India defeated England by 15 runs in 4th T20I at Maharashtra Cricket Association, Pune and clinched the 5 Match T20I 3-1.

India being put to Bat first lost 3 wickets in 2nd Over off Saqib Mahmood, for 12 runs.

Rinku Singh (30) & Abhishek Sharma (29) notched vital 45 runs partnership, saving India from collapse.

However, the Match turned in India’s favour with aggressive Batting from Shivam Dube (53) & Hardik Pandya (53). India pulled big score of 181-9(20), with help of 87 runs partnership between the duo.

Though initially not named in the XI, Harshit Rana was called upon to replace allrounder Shivam Dube as a concussion substitute after the latter was struck on the helmet in the final over of India’s innings.

England started off their innings in fine fashion, as they put up 62 runs opening stand, before losing Ben Duckett (39) in last Ball of powerplay.

Apart from an aggressive knock of Harry Brook (51), England never recovered and continued to lose wickets at regular intervals.

Harshit Rana and Ravi Bishnoi bagged 3-fers while Varun Chakaravarthy picked 2-fer as India bundled English side for 166.

Shivam Dube was adjourned Man of the Match.
