KOLKATA:- Kalyani Stadium is set to host an electrifying encounter between Inter Kashi and Delhi FC on December 1st, Sunday, as the two teams face off in their second fixture of the I-League 2024-25 edition. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 PM IST.
Inter Kashi, led by seasoned coach Antonio Habas, commenced their I-League campaign on a winning note, edging past Sporting Club Bengaluru 1-0. The solitary goal, scored by Edmund Lalrindika, courtesy of a Karthik Panicker assist, propelled Inter Kashi to third place in the league table after the conclusion of gameweek 1.
Habas, known for his tactical prowess, acknowledged the challenge posed by Delhi FC but emphasized his team’s intention to win every match. “Delhi FC will be a difficult opponent. But the idea for us is to win every match,” he stated.
Delhi FC, on the other hand, began their season with a goalless draw against Namdhari FC on November 23rd. Currently sitting seventh in the table, they face a daunting task against Inter Kashi, who will be riding high on confidence after their opening win.
Delhi FC supremo Yan Law, however, exuded confidence in his team’s ability to perform well against Inter Kashi. “Playing against Inter Kashi is always a tough challenge. They had a fantastic first game. But we have done our homework,” he said.
