KOLKATA:- 22-year-old Daniel Maldini was named in the Italian national team. Daniel, the son of the legendary defender Paolo Maldini, got a chance in the Italy team announced for the two matches of this month’s UEFA Nations League. Earlier, Daniel’s father Paolo Maldini and his grandfather Cesare Maldini also played for the Italian national team.

If Daniel Maldini takes the field this time, it will become the third generation representative of the Maldini family in the Italian national team.

Daniele Maldini has just been called up to the Italian national team. Daniel got a chance in the Italy team announced for two matches of this month’s UEFA Nations League. Daniel has been in great form since he went to Monza on loan from his grandfather’s club AC Milan in January of this year. Later, he was bought by Monza.

Daniele’s father Paolo played 126 matches between 1984 and 2009 for the Italian national team. This was once the record for most appearances for Italy.
