Kolkata : The 2nd edition of Bengal Pro T20 League (Men’s) 2025 is about start from 11th June, featuring 31 matches, a battle among 8 teams representing 8 districts of West Bengal.
The league comprises some well known veterans playing as marquee players in individual teams. Let’s check the top 10 champion cricketers featuring in the tournament.
(1) Mohammed Shami –
Mohammed Shami, the iconic India and Bengal pacer will represent Shrachi Rarh Tigers in the Bengal Pro T20 League 2025. Shami has picked up 462 international wickets in 197 matches across all formats. Due to injuries and not being fully fit, he wasn’t selected in upcoming India’s tour of England Test series. He also played for Sunrises Hyderabad in IPL 2025. For Bengal, he has played 89 FC matches picking 339 wickets. The man of ICC events, his presence in the tournament will be treat to watch for the fans.
(2) Akash Deep –
Akash Deep Singh, the pace battery is being retained by Siliguri Strikers ahead of Bengal Pro T20 League 2025, a side coached by Wriddhiman Saha. Known for his wicket taking abilities, he has represented India in 7 Tests, picking 15 wickets and has troubled great batters all over the world. He has represented Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025. For Bengal, he has picked up 128 wickets in 38 FC matches.
(3) Abishek Porel –
Known for his hitting and acrobatic keeping abilities, playing for Delhi Capitals in IPL, Abishek Porel will represent Lux Shyam Kolkata Royal Tigers in upcoming Bengal Pro T20 League 2025. In 29 FC matches playing for Bengal, he has scored 1324 runs.
(4) Mukesh Kumar –
Indian pacer Mukesh Kumar will represent Sobisco Smashers Malda for 2nd consecutive season in Bengal Pro T20. He guided the team to final last season. Mukesh played 26 international matches for India and picked up 32 wickets. He represents Delhi Capitals in IPL. In 51 FC matches he has picked 207 wickets.
(5) Manoj Tiwary –
Manoj Tiwary, a retired legend of Bengal Cricket will represent Harbour Diamonds in upcoming Bengal Pro T20 League. Having played 119 FC matches for Bengal, he has scored 8752 runs. Besides this, he also played 15 international matches for India scoring 287 runs.
(6) Abhimanyu Easwaran –
Known for leadership run scoring abilities, Abhimanyu Easwaran will represent Harbour Diamonds in Bengal Pro T20 League 2025. He has led India A and India B in Duleep Trophy and International matches and is currently leading them in India A vs England Lion series in England. He has represented Bengal in 101 FC matches, scoring 7674 runs.
(7) Anustup Majumdar –
One of the greatest player to represent Bengal, Anustup Majumdar, the Bengal captain will represent Siliguri Strikers in Bengal Pro T20 League 2025. The 41 years old has played 94 FC matches for Bengal, scoring 5569 runs.
(8) Shahbaz Ahmed –
Left handed All rounder Shahbaz Ahmed will play for Shrachi Rarh Tigers in Bengal Pro T20 League 2025. He has represented India in 5 international matches and currently represented Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025. The iconic all rounder has played 34 FC matches for Bengal scoring 1892 runs and picked 103 wickets.
(9) Sudip Kumar Gharami –
Sudip Kumar Gharami, the man who led Murshidabad Kings to final in Bengal Pro T20 league 2024 is retained by them this season. The 26 years old Batter has represented Bengal in 30 matches and scored 1714 runs.
(10) Sudip Chatterjee –
Sudip Chatterjee will represent Medinipur Wizards in Bengal Pro T20 League 2025. Having represented Bengal and Tripura in 82 matches, he has scored 5183 runs. His experience will be vital for the team.
