Barcelona: Four months have passed since Joan Laporta won the Barcelona presidential election and reclaimed his position at the top, his impact has become evident as the near shambles condition of the club started to revive.
Laporte’s first major success was gaining the support of the club members to get a refinance proposal of a 525m Euros debt by Goldman Sachs by June. His major quality is giving importance to the members as he did about Barcelona’s inclusion in the ‘Super League’.
The 59-year-old had stated previously that he would await till the summer to start working on revival and he did to bring about huge changes in Camp Nou. Laporta has been efficiently handling the grave financial crisis that has been inflicted on Barcelona, due to some wrong costly decisions taken by former management.
