Armando Sadiku joins FC Goa

Kolkata : Former Mohun Bagan Super Giants forward Armando Sadiku has joined FC Goa on 1 year deal loan.

Sadiku played in Mohun Bagan for 1 season, successfully winning Durand Cup 2023, ISL League Shield 2024. He scored 8 goals in 22 Matches for the Mariners.

The Albanian star won 2013-14 Swiss Cup for Zurich , 2015-16 Liechtenstein Cup for Vaduz, and was top scorer in 2017-18 Polish Cup.

He made 39 appearances for Albania scoring 12 goals. His goal helped Albania qualify to their 1st ever Euro. He also scored the winner in Euro 2016 to gift Albania their 1st win against Romania.

Sadiku expressed his excitement about joining FC Goa, said, “I am thrilled to join FC Goa, a team I consider to be among the best in India. My goal is to contribute in every possible way to help the team win all the trophies we are competing for and to score more goals than I did in my first season in India.”

His inclusion in FC Goa will strengthen their attack.
