Naturally, after repeating the same behavior, the goalkeeper finally had to go into exile. The first incident took place on September 5, when Argentina was playing against Chile, accusing the goalkeeper Martinez of dancing indecently to win the Copa America.
In 2022, he showed the same enthusiasm even after winning the World Cup football.
The second incident happened on September 10th when Colombia lost to Argentina 1-2. And it was after that loss that a different Chilean for Martinez basically beat up a cameraman, even allegedly beating the cameraman to death.
After that, the case went to FIFA, but the world football federation did not listen to his arguments despite his repeated attempts to prove his innocence.
So FIFA’s disciplinary committee decided to ban him internationally for two World Cup qualifiers.
