Sharjah, December 6, 2024: India defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in Semi Final 2 of ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 at Sharjah.
India dominated Sri Lanka bowling 1st with Chetan Sharma’s 3/34. Despite Lakvin Abeysinghe (69) & Sharujan Shanmuganathan (42) knocks, Sri Lanka were bundled out for 173.
India started the chase with strong 91 runs opening partnership of Vaibhav Suryavanshi (67) & Ayush Mhatre (37). In later half of innings, Andre Siddhart C (22), Md Amaan (25*) guided India past the target in 21.4 overs.
India will now face Bangladesh in the final on December 8 at Dubai.
