Rome: Wales will look to book their place in the next round of EURO 2020, when they meet Italy in Group A at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Sunday (June 20). Ryan Giggs’ men took massive steps to qualify for the round of 16 after beating Turkey 2-0 in the last game.

Striker Kieffer Moore has been in excellent form netting six goals for Wales while Gareth Bale look to have found his feat after the last where he was the man of the match while Aaron Ramsey also answered few of his critics. However, their challenge on Sunday will be huge as they try to break down the defensive wall of the Azzuris.

As for Italy, they already have booked their place for the next stage after beating Swtizerland and Turkey in the Group A matches. Manuel Locatelli and Ciro Immobile put on splendid performance for Italy. Marco Verratti, who has missed Italy’s opening two games is  still doubtful for the Sunday’s game as well while Giorgio Chiellini also will not feature due to his injury in the last game. Andrea Belotti and Federico Chiesa can also feature as a part of squad-rotation.

In the other game of Group A Switzerland and Turkey will lock horns for their first win of this tournament  at Baku Olympic Stadium in Baku. Turkey have underperformed in both their fixtures, losing 3-0 to Italy in the tournament curtain-raiser before suffering a 2-0 defeat to Wales last time. The Swiss though, picked up a point from their opening match against Wales but were crashed 3-0 by Italy. A win can seal a spot for both the sides as one of the best third placed side on points.

For Switzerland, Manager Vladimir Petkovic will hope that his side improve their overall performance especially striker Haris Seferovic who had a disappointing campaign, while reliable Xherdan Shaqiri need to step up his game as well.

Turkey on the other hand, have a positive side winning each of their last two encounters with the Swiss. Striker Burak Yilmaz will have the last chance to inspire his side.
