Dubai: The Cricketing fraternity was left in distrust after Shaheen Afridi dismissed KL Rahul during the India-Pakistan fixture in the ICC T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday.
Afridi,the left seamer gave a couple of breakthrough in two overs, dismissing openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul cheaply.
However, pictures flooded over Twitter showing that Afridi had overstepped on the delivery which bamboozled Rahul for 3. Several fans showing their disgust on the social media platform sharing the pictures. Many of them even captioned “The Umpire is sleeping”.

After being put into bat, India were got hit early as Afridi sent Rohit Sharma home for a golden duck before sending Rahul on to his way home. Suryakumar Yadav had a outing to forget on his world cup debut edging himself to wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. However, India rode on Virat Kohli(57) and Rishabh Pant’s (39) valuables knock to 151/7 in their 20 overs.
