Shocking amount of money spend during ISL just to fight against Covid-19

Goa : It’s been four days since the Hero Indian Super League season seven final, every team has left Goa for their stipulated destination but everyone would be shocked to know the amount of money spent to fight against Covid-19 this season.

The teams were in Goa for six months, i.e. from September to March and the amount of money spent during this time was Rs.17 crore. This was only against Covid-19 and the different norms which the teams had to maintain during this time.

In 14 hotels there were 18 Bio Bubble zone. 1635 people were kept on the Bio Bubble zone which included players, coaches, support staffs, league members. There were Covid test for everyone staying in the Bio Bubble within every 72 hours. Every test costed Rs.50 and 26,000 N95 masks were used during the whole ISL season.

The three stadiums i.e. Fatorda Stadium, GMC Stadium, Tilak Maidan were newly constructed before the ISL begun and also maintained with regular sanitization. According to sources this costed the FSDL more Rs.20 crore but this included flood light, generators and ground staffs.
