Chasing 155 runs, Australia lost debutant Jake Fraser Mcgurk (0) in 1st over. However, Travis Head (80) & Mitchell Marsh thrashed Scottish bowlers all over the park to record 113 runs in Powerful – the highest ever in T20I history. Head’s knock came in just 25 Balls and included 12 boundaries and 5 sixes.
Despite losing both the Batters after Powerplay, Josh Inglis (27*) guided the Men in Yellow to finishing line in just 9.4 overs.
In 1st innings, despite Scotland getting a fiery start scoring 50+ in Powerplay, they fell prey to Sean Abbott (3/39), Adam Zampa (2/33) & Xavier Bartlett (2/23) , stopping at 154-9 (20).
