Kolkata : As per reports, Rahul Dravid set to return to his former IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, the team he captained and coached.
“Talks are going on between RR and Dravid, and an announcement in this regard is round the corner,” a reliable source said.
Dravid led Rajasthan Royals in 2012 & 2013 IPL, led them to Playoffs in 2013 IPL & Final of Champions League 2013. Then he coached them in IPL 2014, 2015 , guiding them to playoffs in 2015, finishing 3rd.
As per reports, Dravid will replace Kumar Sangakara, current head coach of the team. However, official statements await. Previously Dravid was expected to join KKR but now tables might turn.
