FC Goa v Mumbai City FC

Goa: Mumbai City FC will take on FC Goa on the second leg of the semifinal in the Indian Super League at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim. The first leg ended 2-2 at the Fatorda and as there is no away goal advantage the match would start with no score advantage for any side.

Mumbai after lifting the league winners shield has been sloppy in the first leg against Goa. That resulted in two goals and would be looking not to mishap at their stipulated home ground.

Neither of the side has tasted the championship so would be very much realistic in winning the match and qualify for the finals. “I am not happy (with the result),” Mumbai coach Sergio Lobera said. “We had chances to score more goals and we need to be clinical in these situations.”

Goa on the other hand would be happy to get back Alberto Noguera and Ivan Gonzalez from suspension and would go with full power against the table-toppers Mumbai.

“We are not very happy because we wanted to win,” said Goa coach, Juan Ferrando. “The most important (thing) now is the players are 100% ready. It’s a great opportunity for us to continue to improve and continue working. We hope to be in the final.”

Igor Angulo can be the factor with 14 goals this season for Goa and they would be believing in him for the victory. On the other hand Adam Le Fondre, Hugo Boumous and Bartholomew Ogbeche would be the best possible options for Mumbai to fetch goals.
