London: Liverpool pulled all their strings as they were just totally on song against Crystal Palace on Saturday humiliating them 7-0 and stay at the top of the English Premier League for next eight days. Certainly a sight every Liverpool fan love to witness.

The match was 50-50 before it started. As everyone thought that Roy Hudson’s Palace will give a fight at their den. No big Liverpool fan thought that this would be the scoreline after the match. The defending champions are back to the place where they were throughout last season.

The match started with a bang, as Minamino Takumi opening the scoring for the Reds in the third minute. Then it was bit even steven as Palace tried to hit back but were failing in the final third. Sadio Mane scored the second in the 35th minute and the goalzo of Liverpool begun.

Roberto Firmino scored his first in the 44th minute and the Reds were 3-0 up after the first half. In the second half the total dominance begun with captain Jordon Henderson stepping up to add the fourth in the 52nd minute.

Jurgen Klopp then gave a masterstroke by bringing in Mohamed Salah at the hour mark. And the Egyptian King came up with his highness. In the 68th minute he assisted one for Firmino and then went on to score twice in the 81st and 84th minutes.

Klopp will be a happy man going into the Christmas week as his team is back at the top of the league and most importantly his players are coming back from injury. Certainly the Christmas bells have started to ring at the Red part of the Merseyside.
