Berlin : Hertha Berlin confirmed that Matteo Guendouzi tested positive for Coronavirus, after he returned from his international duties.
Guendouzi recently tested positive for Corona Virus. He tested positive twice once on Tuesday (October 13) and the other on Wednesday (October 14). Guendouzi who last played with France’s under-21 national team would now have to stay in isolation.

Guendouzi captained his team to a 5-0 win over Liechtenstein on Thursday (October 8) and a 1-0 victory over Slovakia on Monday (October 12). He then tested positive, according to sources. The midfielder signed from Arsenal and now he would have to stay in isolation for 10 days before he can join his team mates. Hence he would have to wait further for his debut with Hertha. His debut which could have been against Stuttgart on Saturday (October 17) would now have to wait till he recovers.
