Mumbai: As the world is fighting against the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic, India opener KL Rahul has recently has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) hoods to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at Bengaluru airport, helping them fight the deadly virus.
Rahul, who will be next seen in action for Kings XI Punjab, during the IPL 2020, said, “The CISF has been protecting the country and risking the lives. So it becomes a responsibility for everyone to make them feel safe and comfortable,” he said.
“The CISF is protecting us day and night. They are risking their lives so that we can live comfortably. It is not only mine but everybody’s responsibility to make them feel safe and comfortable. This is just a small gesture from my end for them,” he added.
Rahul is among the many athletes to have helped the frontline workers amid the worldwide health crisis, which has engulfed the entire world.
