Goa: After weeks of speculations, Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah finally tied
the knot on Monday with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in Goa.
Announcing the big news on his social media handle he wrote “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana,” tweeted Bumrah along with two pictures where he and Sanjana are seen performing wedding rituals.

Bumrah and Sanjana got married in a private function. According to reports, the wedding took place in the presence of just 20 people and no mobile phones were allowed during the ceremony.
The news of Bumrah’s marriage was gripped when Bumrah was released by the team-management before the fourth Test against England.
Ganesan, a sports presenter who has hosted several sports shows from the ICC World Cup 2019 to the Indian Premier League. Apart from this, she currently hosts a show for the Kolkata Knight Riders called the “Knight Club.” She has been associated with KKR since 2016. Ganesan also won the Femina Gorgeous title in 2013.
The 27-year-old played two Tests in the ongoing four-match series against England. Bumrah is likely to return to action in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2021 which gets underway on April 9.
Not a part of the T20I squad for the ongoing series against England, the right-arm pacer is unlikely to be named in the ODI squad too. In his absence, India won the fourth Test and are level in the five-match T20I series.
