Dubai : Undefeated in group stage and already qualified for Asia Cup 2026 semi final, India displayed dominant performance with help of spinners Shree Charani and Prema Rawat to defeat Pakistan by 7 wickets at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai in Group A clash.
Bowling first, India started to make an impact from 5th over, as they continued to take wickets at regular intervals.
Shree Charani (3/7), Prema Rawat (3/9), Deepti Sharma (2/5) – India’s spin trio completely demolished Pakistan to 55.
India started their chase with turbulences losing 3 quick wickets of Shafali Verma (12), Pratika Rawal (4) and Smriti Mandhana (9) to Pakistan captain Fatima Sana.
However, Harmanpreet Kaur (18*) and Deepti Sharma (12*) notched match winning partnership of 28 runs to ease past the target in 8.4 overs.
