Kolkata : English pacer James Anderson might make white ball return in shortest format to play T20 Leagues.

Anderson revealed The Hundred and the ball movement their encouraged him for a potential return in T20 Leagues.

He said in a podcast, “I watch the Hundred and see the ball swinging around in the first 20 balls and I think: ‘I can do that, I can still do that.’ I don’t know if that is a viable option, to maybe see if I could do a job in white-ball cricket. Franchise cricket is something I’ve never done”.

However , Anderson, who last played a T20 match in Vitality Blast back in 2014 is yet to take an official call in this decision. After ICC World Cup 2015, he played only Red Ball Cricket. He has played 44 T20s and taken 41 wickets.

He recently retired from Test Cricket as the leading wicket taking pacer, hanging his boots as one of the greatest of all times in that format.
