Kolkata : Mohun Bagan Super Giants players had a promising press conference in the Media Day of Indian Super League at Kolkata. They showed their determination to retain ISL Title.

Mohun Bagan Super Giants with star studded and determined lineup looks charged up to retain their ISL Title, after winning the Durand Cup a new hunger of winning has sparked in them as flashed in the press conference.

The Aussie striker Dimitri Petratos despite the match winner in Durand Cup final against rivals East Bengal remarked “Durand Cup was not my best” , and with sheer determination said, “Let the ISL come. I’ll show you who I am!”.

Similarly, he also gave word in press conference , that, he will be in a fearsome mode in ISL. The Mohun Bagan reliable match winner will also be accompanied by his Aussie team mate Jason Cummings, Armando Sadiku, getting these assistants he said, “Last year I had to do everything alone. This time I have two qualified footballers by my side. So the pressure is less than before. This time I can play with an open mind. His impact will definitely be on the performance.”

Mohun Bagan skipper Subhasish Bose who ended his debut tournament as skipper being Durand Cup champions wants to win his 1st ISL Trophy with this team. “I won the Durand Cup on my debut as captain. This time we want to retain the ISL. Durand’s win has created a positive attitude in the whole team. I believe that will be seen in ISL as well” , he said.

Shubashis did not want to get into the club vs country debate. He is regular for the club as well as the country. In this context, he said, “This time we have many matches including ISL, AFC Cup. Apart from this, there are Asian Cup and World Cup qualifying matches for the country. I want to play as many matches as possible for club and country.”

With a strong line up, balanced forward, midfield, defense, comprising top Indian and Foreign stars, Mohun Bagan Super Giants are a prime contender to retain their ISL Title this year.
