Mumbai: Mumbai City FC notched a 2-0 win over Odisha FC in a close fight in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Mumbai Football Arena. Own goal by Shubam Sarangi and a 94th-minute Bipin Singh secured three points for the Islanders.

The first-half was motionless with both the side playing it safe. However, the loose blass were mopped by an attentive defense of both the sides. The players were incapable of playing decisive pass and failed the final touch, this kept the game goalless till the midway point.

Ahmed Jahouh found Lallianzuala Chhangte who unleashed a on-shot target following a quick Amrinder made a great save to stop Stewart in the 82nd minute. The Scottish striker took the ball from the left side and fired a goal-bound low effort. Amrinder was able to keep the ball out thanks to his quick reflexes.

In the game’s final play, Mumbai City FC advanced toward a disorganised Odisha defence. With the final kick of the game, Bipin scored his 15th league goal for the team after Stewart selflessly gave the ball to him.
