ISL 2020-21: Kerala Blasters start their pre-season training at Padem Sports Complex

Kochi: After FC Goa, Kerala Blasters have started their pre-season training in Goa from Thursday (October 8) ahead of the Indian Super League 2020-21. Assistant Coach, Ishfaq Ahmed is in charge of it with all the official guidelines and precautionary measures being taken due to the current situation.

The training has started at the Padem Sports Complex ground, the official training venue for the club this season. Head coach Kibu Vicuna will be arriving soon. The squad for this season will see seven new young prodigies coming through the reserve to be part of the first-team squad. Besides that, the remaining members especially from the foreign contingents are reported to arrive in the coming week.

The current pre-season squad is as follows:

(Goalkeepers) Albino Gomes, Prabhsukhan Singh Gill, Bilal Husain Khan, Muheet Shabir; (Defenders) Denechandra Meitei, Jessel Carneiro, Nishu Kumar, Lalruatthara, Abdul Hakku, Sandeep Singh, Kenstar Kharshong; (Midfielders) Sahal Abdul Samad, Jeakson Singh, Rohit Kumar, Arjun Jayaraj, Lalthathanga Khawlhring, Ayush Adhikari, Gotimayum Muktasana, Givson Singh Moirangthem, Rahul KP, Seityasen Singh, Prasanth K, Ritwik Das, Nongdamba Naorem, Sergio Cidoncha, Facundo Pereyra, Vicente Gomez Umpierrez; (Forwards), Shaiborlang Kharpan, Naorem Mahesh Singh, Gary Hooper.

The training will be in full steam after the arrival of entire squad with the foreign players and complete coaching staff.
