Kolkata: The broadcasters for the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League have unveiled a new appearance for former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is expected to return to the field with the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
With a beard and lengthy hair, the 40-year-old appeared almost unrecognizable in a khaki shirt and pants. Dhoni imitated the appearance of a bus conductor or driver.

Star Sports, the event’s broadcasters, also provided a few short snippets from the campaign to build anticipation for the tournament, which begins on March 26.

Dhoni’s new look has piqued the interest of cricket fans, who are eagerly anticipating a full-fledged ad featuring the Chennai Super Kings skipper.

CSK retained Dhoni for 12 crores, along with Ravindra Jadeja, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Moeen Ali.

The tournament begins on March 26 and runs until May 29. To eliminate air travel, which is thought to be a key factor in the transmission of the Covid-19 infection, all matches will be played in a bio-secure environment at a single hub.
