Kolkata : Indian Football team has announced list of 26 probables for international friendly match against Malaysia on November 18 , to be held at Hyderabad.
The list saw exclusion of Mohun Bagan Super Giants captain Subhasish Bose and Bengaluru FC’s Nikhil Poojary.
The Indian defense will be boosted with the return of veteran Sandesh Jhingan , who suffered knee injury in January , 2024 during encounter against Syria in AFC Asian Cup clash and is out since then.
23 years old forward Irfan Yadwad of Chennayin FC with impressive ISL performances has earned National team call up. The forward line is strengthened with presence of Farukh Choudhary, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Manvir Singh Vikram Partap Singh, Edmund Lalrindika.
The defense is strengthened with presence of stars like Anwar Ali, Naorem Singh, Jhingan, Rahul Bheke, Hmingthanmawia Ralte.
The midfield looks strong with presence of Mohun Bagan’s star Anirudh Thapa & Apuia. Mohun Bagan’s rival club East Bengal’s Jeakson Singh will also strengthen the Indian midfield.
Jithin MS from NorthEast United FC and Vibin Mohanan from Kerala Blasters FC, who have shown promise, are set to reinforce India’s midfield options.
Goalkeeper’s list too looks strong with presence of walls like Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Vishal Kaith, Amrinder Singh.
