The Indian Cricket Team is unlikely to travel to Pakistan for ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

As per reports by BCCI Sources to ANI, BCCI wants ICC to organize the tournament, which is originally to be hosted completely by Pakistan, in a hybrid fashion, meaning, they want India’s fixtures to be held either in UAE or Sri Lanka.

BCCI will convey this decision to ICC later this week.

A couple of weeks ago, the Pakistan Cricket Board had prepared a rough draft of the Champions Trophy schedule and allotted India’s games in Lahore keeping the security factor in mind.

However, the BCCI seems to be in no mood to relent and it does not want to send its players to the neighbouring country, where it has not travelled since 2008.

A similar thing happened in last year Asia Cup where Pakistan had to adapt the hybrid model for India’s Matches giving UAE to India and host other Matches in their country.
