Goa: Hyderabad FC and Jamshedpur FC failed to capitalise on their chances which they have created ending the match at 0-0 at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco on the first of the doubleheaders in Sunday.

The match started with Hyderabad attacking and playing positive football. Aridane Santana played a beautiful ball for Joel Chianese which he failed to deliver. Halicharan Narzary created an opportunity for Hyderabad but was saved by TP Rehenesh on Jamshedpur’s goal.

Stephen Eze came close to break the deadlock for Jamshedpur but his header was denied by the woodwork. In the second half, both the team had half chances, to be honest. Nerijus Valskis came close to open the scoring but his header was well saved by Laxmikant Kattimani under the Hyderabad goal.

Certainly, a disappointing outcome for Manolo Marquez’s side as he wanted to win and strongly challenge in the top four race. For Owen Coyle, it would bring some happiness as a draw is better than a defeat.
