FIFA 21: Best free kick takers are out, Lionel Messi tops the list


Redwood City: EA Sports FIFA 21 is set to be released on October 6 while the ratings for the best free-kick takers are out. Over the years, fans’ expectations have taken a giant leap & this year is no exception. “Free-kick Specialist”, the term that symbolizes a player’s ability to make the dead ball talk and this trait has become very popular among users with different types of free-kick techniques being included in the game’s recent versions. So, let us look into players who will be the masters of this trait in the 2021 edition.


Lionel Messi has been deadly over the dead ball situations over the years and he retains his top spot with a rating of 94.Villarreal playmaker Dani Parejo is somewhat underrated considering how good he can be from set- pieces & this year he even got an upgrade from 90 to 93 placing himself at the 2nd spot. The man with a deadly right foot from Bosnia & Barcelona’s new signing Miralem Pjanic is at 3rd with an accuracy score of 92.Shunsuke Nakamura of Yokohama FC at the age of 42 gets a rating of 90 while Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar Jr. is placed behind him with 89 rating at 7th place.

Hakan Calhanoglu suffered a steep slide in the rating from last year as he went from 90 to 86 and so is Memphis Depay of Lyon who went from 88 to 86.Bruno Fernandes and Aleksander Kolarov retains the same as last years with 87 and 88 score of accuracy respectively.

There is no Kevin De Bruyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the top 10 considering their on-field prowess from the distance .So, James Ward-Prowse of Southampton becomes the only player from the Premier League to be featured in the list. However, a surprise addition to the list is Ruslan Malinovskyi from Atalanta who scored some outrageous goals with his left foot last season in Serie-A and no-wonder he gets a deserving accuracy score of 88 placing him at the 10th spot.
