Barcelona : FC Barcelona are rumoured to announce the signing of Manchester City star and former La Masia graduate Eric Garcia on a pre-contract agreement, as per sources. The Spanish teenager had refused to extend his contract at the Etihad Stadium and has his target set on a returning to his homeland.
Barcelona’s defensive woes have been very prominent on the pitch lately and so is their financial troubles. The Blaugrana are looking to reinforce their backline, and Garcia fits the structure perfectly. The youngster would be allowed to speak to other clubs over a potential transfer in January, as his contract at Manchester City set to expire on June 30th 2021.
Besides, Manchester City’s youngster Barcelona are also looking to grab Olympique Lyon forward Memphis Depay. The Dutch superstar also came close to departing Les Gones for the Catalans last summer but the move ultimately did not materialize.
