Madrid : Real Madrid made their way to the UEFA Champions League final, after they produced one if the biggest comebacks and defeated Manchester City 6-5 in aggregate at Santiago Bernabeu. The La Liga champions will be facing Liverpool in the finals.

Real Madrid entered the second leg of the tie trailing by one goal. Although things got real tricky when Riyad Mahrez scored a goal in the 73rd minute. As it looked, Manchester City had booked their second consecutive UCL final berth.

However, Rodrygo came up big for the Los Blancos as he scored a brace in the dying minutes to force extra time. In the extra time, Karim Benzema scored from the spot to give Real Madrid the lead against City.

Rodrygo came off the bench and scored in the 90th minute and 91st minute to level the game, with City shaken up the extra time play started. Benzema won a penalty within the first five minutes of the play and converted it.

Real Madrid will be playing Liverpool, who have won the competition for six times, in the final at the Stade de France later in this month.
