Bengaluru FC look to return to winning ways against Jamshedpur FC

Goa: Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC face each other in match 41 of the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa on Monday(December 28).

Bengaluru will come into game after a disappointing 1-0 loss to ATK Mohun Bagan in the last match. Carles Cudrat’s side’s weakness was exposed badly especially when in transition, the opposition won the ball. Besides that, their composure infront of the goal also raised eye-brows considering the quality of players they have in their line-up. Sunil Chhetri and Cleiton Silva will look forward get back to their best while Juanan will make sure he lead the defensive shield in a strong fashion. On the other hand, Jamshedpur had their own fair share of problems against FC Goa  which they lost 2-1 despite taking an early lead. The defence have been a major concern for Owen Cole’s side but still the coach is quite optimistic about his ability to show stern spirits for the 90 minutes against a star stacked side like Bengaluru while they have to careful during the set-pieces as the Blues are probably the most dangerous from those kind of situations. Despite that, They will rely on the prowess of Nerijus Valskis to make the life difficult of opposition defense who scored six goals till now and will be a big boost for his side’s contentions for the full three points.
