Kolkata : ECB has announced squad for 4 day Test match against Zimbabwe, with skipper Ben Stokes returning to the squad from injury, been out from action since New Zealand series 2025.

The Test will kickstart English summer, beginning from May 22, 2025.
England’s pace attack has been depleted with injuries to key bowlers, including Mark Wood (knee) and Chris Woakes (ankle). Brydon Carse is out of action with a foot injury, while Olly Stone is still recovering from a knee operation.Jofra Archer is bowling in the IPL but is not yet fit for Test cricket.
Apart from these, the english side will see some fresh faces like Sam Cook, Jordan Cox.
